The Cardsmiths Gnome Redemption Program is a real-world card redemption initiative that rewards collectors who discover special “Lost Gnome” cards hidden inside select Cardsmiths trading card packs. These gnome cards can be sent back to Cardsmiths in exchange for cryptocurrency-based prizes.
This program adds a modern twist to physical card collecting by introducing real-world digital rewards.
How the Gnome Redemption Program Works
Cardsmiths periodically includes limited-edition Lost Gnome redemption cards in marked card packs. When collectors find one, they can redeem it for cryptocurrency.
Here’s how the program works step-by-step:
1. Buy Eligible Packs
Look for Cardsmiths trading card packs that feature the gnome family crest on the wrapper. These indicate potential participation in the Gnome Redemption Program.
Gnome cards can be found in various Cardsmiths franchises, and recently Grandma Gnome and Gnoah Gnome were found in Currency packs.
2. Find a Gnome Card
If your pack includes a Lost Gnome card, it means you’ve found a winning redemption card.
3. Submit the Gnome
Follow the instructions on the card and ship it to Cardsmiths at the provided redemption address. Be sure to include any required details (e.g., contact info, return form).
4. Claim Your Reward
Once Cardsmiths receives and verifies the gnome card, you’ll be issued a cryptocurrency prize, which may include Bitcoin, Ethereum, or other digital assets.
A spin on the Gnome cards are the Elves, which were included in the Currency Holidays 2024 series. As a matter of fact, a lucky collector has found a 1 BTC card, as announced by Cardsmiths in January 2025.
