Back in November 2024, Cardsmiths announced the festive Currency Holiday 2024 Trading Card Packs, the ultimate collectible for fans eager to unwrap the holiday spirit.
The set comes with a mix of festive artwork, rare surprises, and exclusive designs, this year’s set offers something magical for everyone — whether you’ve been naughty or nice.
Each pack contained 5 trading cards featuring 18 brand-new designs that capture the joy and whimsy of the holiday season. From classic holiday characters to seasonal motifs, collectors can revel in the charm of uncovering jolly treasures with every unwrapping.
Each of these 18 new designs came in 14 variants: Base, Snowflake Holofoil, Garnet, Silver, Gold, Sapphire, Snowflake Gemstone Refractor™, Christmas Tree, Gingerbread Man, Wreath, Candy Cane, Present, Snowman and Star.
Base and Snowflake Holofoil are not serialised, while the rest came in limited prints. With this in mind, there are 252 variants of the new designs.
However, what is important to know is that on top of these, Holiday 2024 set also included limited-print Snowflake Gemstone Refractor™ variants of all the designs of Series 3 and Series 4! This brings the total number of cards to be collected to a significantly higher number.

The Snowflake Holofoil should not be confused with the Snowflake Gemstone Refractor™. The latter is extremely rare (with print runs of x/3). In the photo below, as Snowflake Holofoil is shown on the left, and a Snowflake Gemstone Refractor™ on the right.
